What do you think it takes to have a relationship with God and live with Him forever in heaven?

Are you 100% sure that all of your sins are forgiven and that you’re going to heaven?

May I show you from the Bible how to have a relationship with God?

God is HOLY!  –  and cannot tolerate our sin.

God’s Purity

God is “of purer eyes than to see evil and cannot look at wrong “ – Habakkuk 1:13a

God’s Reflection

“…sin is lawlessness –  1 John 3:4b  –  “Thou shalt not…”lie…steal…commit adultery… (Exodus 20:1-17)

Man’s Dilemma

“All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” – Romans 3:23

Imagine a contest…

God Is JUST  –  and cannot overlook our sin.

“The wages of sin is death…”  –  Romans 6:23a

“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.” –  Matthew 25:41

Man’s Destiny

God is Loving – and has reached out to us.

He has provided a way for us to be close to Him that satisfies His holy/just nature.

Who would you say Jesus is?

God’s Son

Three Elements of Saving Faith

Understand
God cannot tolerate or overlook my sin.  He gave His life in exchange for mine, and wants to give me eternal life.

Depend/Trust
I choose to receive Jesus’ Exhange – my sin and its penalty for His record and eternal life…

Agree
I am a sinner and need a Savior.

Repent

“unless you repent, you will all likewise perish “  Luke 13:3

Changeof Mind

Imagine a point of no return…

Do you believe that Jesus loves you and will give you forgiveness and eternal life if you ask him?

Then are you willing to receive him right now?

Dear Jesus,

I have sinned against Your holy nature and deserve judgment in hall.  I believe that You loved me enough to die in my place.  Please forgive my sins, exchange my sinful record for Your holy one, and give me eternal life in heaven.  Thank you, Jesus.  Amen
